After thirty years of serving customers on Youngstown’s Westside, owners of Casa Ramirez Mexican Restaurant announced that they are ending dine-in service at the end of May.

The announcement was posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page:

“With a heavy heart we are announcing that May 31, 2024, we will be pausing our dine-in service. This decision was not made lightly, but the consistent staffing challenges have accelerated the need to look into shifting our business model.”

The Ramirez family announced that it will use the break to re-evaluate the future of the restaurant on Mahoning Avenue.

However, the restaurant will continue hosting parties and other gatherings, as well as providing off-site catering.

“Thank you for your understanding and patience,” the post said.  “We've truly enjoyed serving you for 30+ years and look forward to whatever the new venture will take us.”
