The Trumbull County Grand Jury has found enough evidence to put a Braceville on trial after township police say their toddler was attacked by a dangerous dog at their home.

Jonah Fisher and Destany Myers, both 26, were each indicted on two child endangering charges. One count is a felony, and the second count is a misdemeanor.

According to the indictment and a police report, the two violated their duty to care by leaving their two-year-old child alone in a room with a dog they knew to be dangerous because it had been previously quarantined for biting someone.

According to a complaint filed by police, the dog attacked the child, who needed emergency medical treatment for serious injuries.

The complaint also alleges that living conditions at the home were unsanitary to the point of being a health hazard.

Both are scheduled to appear before a Trumbull County Judge on June 11 for arraignment.
