Bryan Reynolds leads the way for Pittsburgh as the Buckos route the Mets with a final score of 14-2.

Pittsburgh found themselves trailing two to zero early, but then a pair of home runs sparked the comeback in the 3rd inning. Rowdy Tellez hit a solo shot to put the Pirates on the board. Shortly after that, Jack Suwinski hit a solo shot to right field to tie the game up.

Bryan Reynolds then gave his team the lead in the 5th inning with a two run homer to make it 4-2 Pirates. Reynolds did not stop there and followed up that at bat with a grand slam in the 7th inning. It was the third grand slam of his career.

The Pirates hit a second grand slam in the 8th inning when Rowdy Tellez cleared the bases to make it 14-2 Pirates.

Pittsburgh ties the team record with seven home runs in a single game. Pirates take the first game of the season series with the Mets, and they will play the Mets again tomorrow at 4:05pm.
