YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Fourth Annual "Fore! The Arts" Golf Classic was held this past month on July 26th to raise money for a variety of local organizations.

It was held at the Youngstown Country Club to benefit Opera Western Reserve, the Henry H. Stambaugh Association, the Youngstown Playhouse, and the Youngstown Symphony Society.

The event included breakfast, golfing, a cocktail reception and concluded with lunch and presentation of prizes along with special music performances.

"It's exciting to see so many people come together each year to support the arts," Dani Dier, Chief Business Officer of Henry H. Stambaugh Association, said. "Our goal is to not only raise money for these organizations, but hopefully bring guests in who might not normally attend an arts event."

The golf classic raised $71,677 to support the arts and culture organizations, and programming for the 2024-2025 season.
