Mill Creek Metroparks announces closures ahead of cross country event Sept. 28
More than 500 runners and 32 different high schools and middle school teams are expected to compete.
Folks looking to enjoy the Mill Creek Metroparks may want to be mindful of when you do.
Because of a cross country, several closures have been announced for Sept. 28.
This includes:
- MetroParks Bikeway (between Leffingwell and Route 446).,
- MetroParks Farm Parking Lot,
- MetroParks Farm Bikeway Spur Trail,
- Disc Golf Courses,
- Mindy Henning Hiking Trail,
- Animal Barns,
- Archery Range,
- Natural Playground, and
- Recycling Area.
More than 500 runners and 32 different high schools and middle school teams are expected to compete.
The event begins at 10 a.m. and is expected to go until the afternoon.
