AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - A new Disabled American Veterans headquarters officially opened in Austintown.
The new office sits in between Harbor Freight and Frenchy's in the Austintown Plaza.
The DAV Chapter Two will host its meetings there.
Members say they're grateful they were donated this space, to help veterans in need.
"This is a perfect location," Bob Cooper, DAV Treasurer and Fundraising Chair, said. "I mean the parking and everything. We have our meeting place here, we got all our wheelchairs in the back, it couldn't be better."
The DAV collects motorized wheelchairs and other devices for veterans who don't qualify through the VA Office.
They also host fundraisers to help pay for the batteries used to operate them.
