For some voters in Ohio and Pennsylvania their 2024 presidential election decision was clear from the start.

But for others voters, like Del Cochran of Trumbull County it was a different story.

Cochran told 21 news that after weighing his options and consulting with friends, his decision to vote for Donald Trump became clear at the polling station on election day.

"I have a lot of friends [...] and you try to listen everybody's decision to see what works for them," Cochran said.

One woman from Warren who wanted to protect her identity, shared similar sentiments, but despite being a registered Republican, she told 21 News that when when she stepped in the booth she voted opposite of her registered party.

In Mercer County a young female voter Cheyanne Greimann, said her mind was made up in October that Vice President Kamala Harris would have her vote.

"I was just waiting to see everything that they were saying and who I felt would be a better candidate," Greimann said.
