Sebring Library to close for renovations until March; temporary location to open in mid-January
The temporary location will be inside Fire Station #2 location at 80 South 15th Street beginning January 13.

The Sebring Branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will close for three months beginning the week of December 23 to undergo a facility refresh.
While the village branch located at 195 W. Ohio Avenue will be closed beginning December 22, patrons will be able to get limited express services at a temporary location beginning January 13.
The temporary location will be inside Fire Station #2 location at 80 South 15th Street beginning January 13.
Renovations to the building will include:
- A drop ceiling grid and tiles to improve the lighting quality.
- LED lighting to provide brighter illumination.
- New carpet and hard surface flooring throughout the space.
- Updated cabinetry at the circulation desk; increased storage efficiency and functionality.
- A new rear exit door for improved safety and accessibility.
The renovations are expected to be completed in March.
"This project is designed to create a more welcoming, functional, and modern space that better meets the needs of our community," said PLYMC Chief Operating Officer Jordan Shaver.
