A man who was scheduled to go on trial later this month for the beating death of a Campbell man has pleaded guilty and is going to prison.
Twenty-three-year-old R'Trell Miller pleaded guilty to one count of murder Wednesday.
Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge R. Scott Krichbaum sentenced him immediately to 15 years to life in prison.
The case stems from the October 5 beating of 76-year-old James Mszanski at Walter and Main Streets in Campbell. Mszanski died the following day in a hospital.
