The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking public comment on two road construction projects happening in Columbiana County.

The first is a street widening project on State Route 14 in the City of Columbiana. This project consists of the installation of a two-way left turn lane and the addition of sidewalks along both sides of the road.

Construction for this project is expected to begin in the summer of 2026 and last approximately three months. Traffic will be maintained during the construction period.

The second project will rehabilitate nearly six miles of U.S. Route 30 from Lisbon to SR-11 from the intersection of U.S. Route 30 and SR-154 to the junction of SR-30 and the County Road 425/SR-11 interchange.

Construction on this project is expected to begin in the spring of 2026 and last for six months. Traffic will likely be detoured during construction with limits and durations to be determined.

You can submit any comments, questions or concerns about both of these projects by clicking here and here.

You can also submit those comments by mailing them to Ohio Department of Transportation District 11, 2201 Reiser Avenue, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 with attention to Thomas Stratton, by calling Stratton at 330-308-3992 or by emailing him at [email protected].

All comments for both projects must be submitted by April 3.
