Report: Hubbard graduate Caffey transferring to YSU

The former Ohio State player entered the transfer portal in April.

Hubbard graduate and former Ohio State running back TC Caffey is transferring to Youngstown State.

Pete Nakos of On3 Sports announced the news via social media Friday evening.

Caffey joined the Buckeyes as a walk on in 2022. He carried the ball 10 times for 66 yards and a score during his freshman season.

The remainder of Caffey's time at Ohio State was injury-riddled after a torn ACL kept him out in 2023. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2024.

Caffey announced he was entering the transfer portal back in April.

The former Trumbull County Player of the Year racked up over 4,659 rushing yards and 57 touchdowns throughout his high school career.

He earned first-team All-Ohio honors in Division III.
