WARREN, Ohio - The case of Warren man accused of inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl is now in the hands of a grand jury.

A grand jury must now decide whether or not there is enough evidence to indict 37-year-old Matthew Velez on a third degree felony charge of gross sexual imposition.

The charge stems from an incident where a woman accused Velez of inappropriately touching her daughter while telling her she was "so beautiful."

Police say Velez touched the alleged victim's arms and then slid his hand down to her buttocks. Police further allege Velez had rubbed her arms earlier in the day while commenting on the victim's appearance.

Bond for Velez was set at $350,000.
