An suspect is in custody in connection with a robbery and murder on Shehy Street on Sunday.

Lamar Hough surrendered himself Thursday afternoon to Mahoning County's Violent Crimes Task Force.

Hough was wanted on aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary charges in connection with the death of Elmer Landaverde.

Landaverde was shot to death outside his home on Shehy Street after being robbed.

At this point no one has been charged with Landaverde's murder.
