Youngstown State University is expanding its south campus.
The university's board of trustees has voted to buy a Pilgrim Collegiate Church. The property includes 30 parking spaces and will cost YSU around $315,000.
University officials say New Beginnings Outreach Ministries, which leases the church for its programs, will likely be asked to stay on as a tenant.
The school hasn't decided how it will use the facilities. Some have suggested that classes could be held there or some offices, such as parking and janitorial, could relocate to the building.
