YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The State Highway Patrol will be cracking down this holiday weekend.

Troopers say they will be aggressively pulling motorists over, not only for suspicion of drinking while driving, but any traffic violations that may lead to an OVI arrest.

"Designate a driver and when you designate a sober driver, that's not the person who has had the least amount of alcohol to drink. The person driving should have no alcohol to drink and of course, everyday no matter whether you're going around the corner or a long trip, you need to wear your seat belt," said Nakia Hendrix, post commander for Canfield State Highway Patrol.

Police will have at least one Sobriety Check Point this weekend. It will take place Saturday in Mahoning County. Specific details will be released tomorrow.
