Spicy Bacon Ranch Pasta

6 slices bacon

1 lb. pasta

1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

1 package Ranch dry salad dressing mix

1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Extra Parmesan cheese for topping

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 1 tablespoon of bacon fat. Crumble Add chicken to skillet and cook thoroughly. Transfer chicken to the plate with bacon.

In the same skillet add in the flour and spicy ranch dry salad dressing mix and whisk constantly for about a minute. Pour in milk, while whisking. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook for a couple minutes until it thickens. Add the chicken, bacon and Parmesan cheese; stir until cheese melts.

Add pasta and cook for a few more minutes so the pasta absorbs the sauce. Top with extra Parmesan cheese.
