A group in Youngstown is rallying to increase the peace in the city.
The initiative began in the mayor's office two years ago to reduce crime in Youngstown.
The rallies take place all summer in cooperation with law enforcement, social agencies and faith leaders.
Organizers said they came out Tuesday night to spread a message of peace.
"We see how violence and crime is effecting our neighborhoods and families. And we're telling everyone that has lost hope because of things that they've gone through, if you increase the peace in your life, and we believe the prince of peace is in Jesus, can turn everything around for them," said Pastor Rolando Rojas.
People who attend the rallies get snacks, play games and listen to speakers.
