Great Groceries: Veggie Calzone

Veggie Calzone

1 can refrigerated pizza crust
3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped zucchini
1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
1 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp. olive oil
Marinara sauce for dipping

Preheat oven to 425°.

In large bowl, combine mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, broccoli, spinach, green onions, garlic salt, dried basil
and Italian seasoning; mix well.

Unroll dough; pat to form 14 x 10-inch rectangle. Cut dough into four 7 x 5-inch rectangles. Divide cheese
evenly onto half of each rectangle. Top cheese with vegetable mixture. Fold untopped dough over filling
and press edges firmly to seal. Place on a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Brush each with oil.

With a knife cut 3 small slits in the top for steam to escape. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden
brown. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping
