Hundreds come out to pick the best Mahoning Valley wings
Hundreds came out to pick the best of the best when it comes to wings in the Mahoning Valley all for a good cause.

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Hundreds came out to pick the best of the best when it comes to wings in the Mahoning Valley.
There were more than 300 people at the 6th annual Steel Valley Wing Challenge Tuesday in Brookfield.
Chrissy's Lake Tavern won three out of the six categories while Yankee Lake won two awards, including peoples' choice.
The event is a fundraiser for Homes For Kids, which supports local foster children and at-risk youth.
"We have a great need for foster homes currently. Our referrals have doubled over the last year in great part due to the opiate epidemic -- so we are always looking for foster caregivers in Mahoning, Trumbull, Ashtabula and Columbiana counties," said Danette Palmer, Marketing and Development manager.
There was also a wing eating contest where Tony Potts won for the 3rd year in a row.
He ate 12 wings in less than two minutes
