A two-car crash in Brookfield shut down route 82 Thursday afternoon.

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A two-car crash in Brookfield shut down route 82 Thursday afternoon.

Two sedans collided at the intersection of route 82 and 7 just before 4 p.m., leaving one car in a ditch nearby.

Police said nobody was seriously injured in the crash.

The road has since reopened.

Police are still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
