SALEM, Ohio - State Troopers are investigating an accident involving a Salem school bus and an ambulance.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the rear corner of the bus struck a parked EMT Ambulance as it was turning from Reilly Avenue onto Franklin Avenue Friday afternoon.

There were 29 students on the school bus, and no one was in the ambulance. No one was injured.

 The students were transferred onto another bus to continue the route.

The bus driver, 48-year-old Michael Showalter of Salem, was cited by the patrol for a turn signal violation.
