In Warren, four new officers were sworn into the fire department Tuesday afternoon.

Jackson Lambert, Zane Smith, Christopher McPherson and Gregory Murray all took the oath in Warren council chambers.

The department says it is now operating at full force, which makes response times better for the community that relies on them.

"Its vital for the community that the four hires brings us up to 60 which is our authorized strength," says Warren Fire Chief, Ken Nussle, "and enables us to keep our three fire departments fully staffed 24/7."

Chief Nussle also says, the department is expanding in terms of equipment, with one new truck in service and two new trucks on order.

The department also has a rescue BOAT set to go into service in 2025.
