NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County is working to find the person who threw out a dog.
Last Tuesday, a man emptying the trash at Newton Village Apartments found a dog crate in a dumpster. Inside the crate was a dog without a collar or tags.
A Sheriff’s Deputy was called, who called the Welfare League which is now caring for the dog.
This case is currently under investigation.
If you recognize this dog or have any information, the Welfare League asks that you contact the humane department at (330)539-5300 Ext: 105.
A post on the AWL’s Facebook Page says the dog is not available for adoption at this time.
