Youngstown Police Department announces last days for school zone speed camera enforcement

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - With schools across Youngstown getting ready to go on summer break, the Youngstown Police Department has announced the last days of speed camera enforcement at each school before enforcement is paused for summer break.
A complete list of schools is listed below. Schools are listed in the order their speed cameras are being shut off.

- Summit Academy - Thursday, May 22
- Valley Christian - Wednesday, May 28
- Horizon Science Academy - Friday, May 30
- St. Christine's - Wednesday, June 4
- Cardinal Mooney - Wednesday, June 4
- Ursuline H.S. - Wednesday, June 4
- Southside Academy - Friday, June 6
- East H.S. - Friday, June 6
- Chaney H.S. - Friday, June 6
- Wilson M.S. - Friday, June 6
- Rayen Early College M.S. - Friday, June 6
- Chaney M.S. - Friday, June 6
- Volney Rogers - Friday, June 6
- Taft Elementary - Friday, June 6
- MLK School - Friday, June 6
- Harding Elementary - Friday, June 6

The speed cameras will be turned back on and enforcement will resume at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year.
