Several road closures and lane restrictions are scheduled across Mahoning County beginning in early June due to resurfacing, bridge and culvert work according to the Mahoning County Engineer's Office and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). 

Work will begin on June 2 and continue through mid- to late June, with some projects extending into the fall of 2025. Detours will be posted in each area. 

The following road impacts are scheduled: 

U.S. Route 422 and State Route 616 in Campbell and Coitsville Township beginning June 2 with an estimated completion of October 2025.

There will be various lane restrictions in place from State Route 616 to the Pennsylvania state line.

Garfield Road in Goshen Township will be closed between Seacrist Road and State Route 534 from June 3 through June 6 for a culvert replacement.

A detour is given from State Route 534 to Pine Lake Road and Seacrist Road. Overnight closures are possible.

In New Middletown and Springfield Township, State Route 170 will be closed for pavement reconstruction through June 4. 

Southbound State Route 170 will not be able to access State Route 630/Calla Road. A detour is given as US 224 East, PA 551, PA 317 and SR 630.

SR 170 Southbound will be closed from SR 630/Calla Road to Woodland Drive through late October 2025.

A detour is given as SR 617, SR 165, SR 626, SR 7, US 224 to US 170.

North Four Mile Run Road in Austintown Township over Interstate 680 will be closed from June 9 through June 16 for a bridge deck overlay.

A detour is given as Mahoning Ave., North Meridian Road to Salt Spring Road.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use caution in work zones and follow posted detours.
