Two shootings occur within hours on Youngstown's west side
The first shooting happened on North Maryland Avenue around 4 p.m. One person, who was shot in the arm, was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Then around 7 p.m. another shooting was confirmed by police on North Portland Avenue.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - There is an ongoing investigation with two shootings on Youngstown's west side on Saturday.
The first shooting happened on North Maryland Avenue around 4 p.m. One person, who was shot in the arm, was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Then around 7 p.m. another shooting was confirmed by police on North Portland Avenue.
Youngstown Police says there are no current suspects.
It is unknown at this time if both incidents are related.
