ST. CLAIR TWP. - Smoke towered over Route 11 in Columbiana County as a fiery car crash snarled traffic Saturday evening.

State Troopers and First Responders from the St. Clair Township Fire Department were called to the northbound lane of the interstate shortly before 6 p.m., where they found flames engulfing a car along the median just before the Rogers exit.

Traffic was backed up as emergency vehicles also crowded onto the highway.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, which is still investigating the crash, told 21 News there were no serious injuries.
