The family of a Liberty woman who has been missing for three years wants closure.

Lori Boffman was last seen on August 5, 2006.

She went out for a drive and did not return.

Her car was found the next day near Shehy Street in Youngstown, still running.

Lesley Womack, a relative of Boffman, said the disappearance has been hardest on her three children.

"It's been a long hard road with her children trying to stay in school, keep their grades up, move on with their life not knowing what happened to their mother or where she is," Womack said.

Boffman's daughter Raquel said she had been acting strangely the last time she saw her at a cookout in Mill Creek park.

"I don't know what she was going through but she wasn't normal that day. She was crying she didn't have anyone to take care of anymore," Raquel said.

Little information has surfaced about what may have happened to Boffman, and family members believe it may have had something to do with a bad reaction to a new medication she had been taking for her diabetes.

Anyone with any knowledge of Boffman's whereabouts is asked to call the FBI or the Liberty Police Department.
