Veterans, Girl Scouts and volunteers will gather at the farm Sunday, November 9 at 9 a.m. to cut eight trees to send a little bit of Christmas cheer to active duty military personnel serving overseas.

The proposal calls for an 11-foot wide, off-road asphalt-paved multi-use path along the east side of Sheridan Road from an existing path near Delaware Avenue. 

The project area includes Lyon Boulevard, Beechwood Drive, Renwick Drive and Poland-Struthers Road (Route 616) from Beechwood Drive to Poland Avenue.

Because the township is not seeking a renewal, residents will see a decrease of $80 per $100,000 of their property value on their property tax bills beginning in February of 2026.
