Ohio executes Mark Brown

LUCASVILLE, Ohio (AP) _ The sister of a convenience store owner slain in a 1994 shooting says the execution of her brother's killer should serve as a lesson to young people about what not to do.
Terri Rasul said Thursday that the lethal injection of Mark Brown brought justice for the death of her brother Isam Salman and called it a sad day.
She watched the execution holding a photograph of a man and woman but declined to say who they were.
The 37-year-old Brown was pronounced dead by lethal injection at 10:49 a.m. at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville.
Brown was sentenced to die for the 1994 fatal shooting of Salman, 32, owner of Midway Market in Youngstown.
Brown got a life prison term for killing clerk Hayder Al-Turk, 30, who was shot just before Salman.
