CAMPBELL, Ohio- A woman who was shot while allegedly attempting to flee a Campbell courtroom appeared in court Friday morning.

Angela Trice-Harris arrived in court in a wheelchair to face charges of escape and resisting arrest.

She is accused of running from the courtroom last Friday after being sentenced to jail time for a probation violation.

A bailiff chased Harris outside and allegedly shot her after she got in her car and reached for what was later determined to be a stun gun.

Harris denied running from the courtroom, calling the incident a misunderstanding.

She is being held on $51,500 bond and has another hearing next week.
