LUCASVILLE, Ohio (AP) _ Ohio has now executed seven people this year, tying a record the state set in 2004.

Thirty-eight-year-old Roderick Davie received a lethal injection yesterday for murdering two people and wounding a third at a pet supply warehouse near Youngstown.

Davie had been fired from the business months before his 1991 rampage.

Before he died yesterday, Davie asked forgiveness from families of those he killed and from William John Everett, the man who survived three gunshot wounds.

Davie said: ``John, I hope you can let it go, man, and forgive me.''

Everett sat silently in the second row of witnesses at the southern Ohio prison that houses the state's death chamber.
