POLAND, Ohio - The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Poland excavation company for a deadly construction accident.
OSHA cited A. Bagnoli and Sons for a trench cave-in at a Hudson construction site.
Fifty-six-year-old James Wetzl of Hudson died when the earthen walls fell on him.
Bagnoli faces four violations including failing to provide proper cave-in protection and allowing employees to work beneath loads listed by digging equipment.
The company has 30 days to appeal.
