BOARDMAN, Ohio - Democrats are trying to further narrow John Kasich's margin in the polls.
While the Republican gubernatorial hopeful met with supporters at his party's headquarters in Boardman, loyal Democrats gathered across the street to demonstrate.
They were trying to counter Kasich's criticism of incumbent governor Ted Strickland.
Boardman police were called to answer complaints that the demonstrators were blocking the entrance to the GOP headquarters, but no arrests were made.
