ERIE, Pennsylvania - A Pennsylvania woman is convicted of taking part in a bizarre bank robbery that ended with the death of a pizza delivery man.
On Monday, a federal jury in Erie found Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong guilty of armed bank robbery and other charges connected to the 2003 heist in Erie.
Brian Wells walked into a bank that August with a bomb strapped around his neck. He walked out with almost nine thousand dollars, but the bomb exploded before police could remove it and he died.
Prosecutors argued Diehl-Armstrong, Wells, and three other men were in on the plot. Two are dead and the third testified against Diehl-Armstrong.
