Mercer County man arrested, suspect in two bank robberies

MERCER COUNTY, Pennsylvania – Police in Pennsylvania have released the name of a suspect linked to a bank robbery in Mercer County.
Authorities arrested 35-year-old Matthew Chestnut following another bank robbery he allegedly committed in Zelienople on Monday.
Chestnut lead police own a short chase after he fled from an officer during a traffic stop following the Zelienople bank robbery.
The registration from the vehicle he was driving led authorities to the home of Chestnut's father in Grove City where he was arrested.
Chestnut reportedly admitted robbing the Mercer County State bank in Sandy Lake last week.
