BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Boardman police have arrested three people from Youngstown who allegedly used the Internet and a smartphone to stage a holdup.

Officers arrested Angel Cruze, II, Dwayne Townsend and Bianca Santos on Eisenhower Drive on Tuesday night.

Cruze and Townsend allegedly pointed a gun at an employee leaving the IHOP restaurant, stealing a bank deposit bag containing more than $300.

Santos who drove the alleged getaway vehicle, told police that she planned the crime by searching on the Internet for information on robberies.

Santos says she also staked out the front of the restaurant during the robbery, texting information to the two other suspects.

Police say Cruze told them he didn't even plan on going out Tuesday night, but his girlfriend was bothering him about money.
