BOARDMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman is having growing pains and expansion plans are on the horizon.

During a meeting at the Boardman campus with Congressman Bill Johnson, hospital spokesman Paul Oliver said expansion is the result of continuous strong demand in Boardman.

"When we first built this facility it was built with the capability to expand and now we're bringing that to fruition," Oliver said.

A formal announcement of the expansion, which will create new jobs as well,  is expected in the near future.
