YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - As Decision 2012 continues to heat up, the topic of job creation is on the front line.

President Obama's campaign is embarking on a Made in Ohio manufacturing tour. On Wednesday, they group toured Fireline, Inc. in Mahoning County.

"Fireline is an example of what his stimulus plan is doing to help small industry," said Mahoning County Commissioner Carol Rimedio-Rhigetti.

Known for their quality, Fireline manufactures industrial ceramics that are in turn used to create turbine engines.

CEO Roger Jones credits Obama's American Recovery Investment Act for helping his company save money. The act allowed Fireline to invest in energy saving lights and an upgraded furnace. They've since saved 25% each year in electricity and natural gas use.

"Twenty five percent is huge because after four years that's all paid for," said Jones. "We couldn't do with without the help of Obama's plan."

The savings in part have allowed Fireline to hire back all employees let go during the recession, and continue the high quality service that's allowed them to compete on an international level.

In response, the Romney campaign released a statement saying "Ohio has lost 17,000 manufacturing jobs since Obama took office."

Mahoning County Republican Chairman Mark Monroe attacked President Obama's use of government money to help stimulate business. He said it's a risk of the taxpayer's dollar if a company fails.

Monroe went on to say that presidential candidate Mitt Romney has a history of creating jobs using private money, rather than government. He said 80% of those investments were a success.
