YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- The Life Skills Center in Youngstown is closed for repairs following an accident where a car crashed into the front of the building.

 

School Administrator Ruth Smith Harris told 21 News that the Youngstown branch of the charter school would be closed for building repairs Monday morning.

Youngstown Police patrolman said that Mohamad Alturk, 27, crashed his 2001 Toyota Avalon into the front of the building, located on 3405 Market S, around 5 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Altruk allegedly panicked after the accident and fled the scene but eventually came in to the Police station Monday.

He is charged with failure to control a vehicle and failure to report an accident.
