NEW SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Covelli Enterprises hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome two new Panera Bread Cafe locations along the turnpike.

The ceremony, which was at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, showcased the new additions to the turnpike service plazas on both sides of Interstate 76.

The Panera Bread Cafes will be joining by two Dairy Queen Grill and Chill shops, also owned and operated by Covelli, that are set to open June 5.

"We are thrilled to open our very first Panera Bread and Dairy Queen stores together on the turnpike," said Sam Covelli, Owner/Operator of Covelli Enterprises, in a press release. "The menus of these two concepts are fantastic on their own, and together, we think they will complement each other to serve the needs of a variety of turnpike travelers."

The new Mahoning Valley and Glacier Hills service plazas will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Nearly 150 employees have been hired to work at both locations. Dairy Queen is still hiring.
