COLUMBUS, Ohio - Preposterous and audacious.

Those are the words Luke Martinucci of Poland spelled correctly this past weekend to earn himself the title of spelling bee champion.

The soon-to-be fourth grader spent the last month and a half studying for the spelling bee, which took place at the Ohio State Fair.

"I knew I was going to win when the runner up spelled preposterous wrong and then I knew it was my big chance. My winning word was audacious and I spelled it a-u-d-a-c-i-o-u-s," says Martinucci.

Martinucci said he had a fun time in Columbus and would compete again.
