WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio -  Two people were seriously injured early Thursday after a Jeep collided with a four-wheeler ATV in Weathersfield.

The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on West Liberty Street between Mary Jane Drive and Morris Lane.

Both people from the Polaris 5X5 were hospitalized in Youngstown with serious injuries. Their identities were not immediately available. At last report, a male and a female were in critical condition.

The ATV and the front of the Jeep were extensively damaged. 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Further details have not yet been released.
