YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A grand jury has indicted a Youngstown man for the beating and stabbing death of a mother of four young children.

The Mahoning County Grand Jury on Thursday handed up a three count indictment against 39-year-old Larry Johnson on charges of aggravated murder and robbery.

Johnson has been in the Mahoning County Jail since Wednesday, after officers brought him from Columbus where he was captured following the slaying of LaShea Parker.

The 26-year old woman was found inside her Shelby Road home in Youngstown on New Year's Eve after a neighbor alerted police that the victim's children were outside in the cold.

Police have not disclosed a motive for the crime.

If convicted, Johnson could be sentenced to life in prison.
