YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Mahoning County woman pleaded not guilty to more than 200 charges filed after authorities confiscated 106 dogs from her North Johnson Road property in Smith Township.
57-year-old Terri Wylie appeared in county court in Sebring on Monday to answer 106 counts of failing to provide veterinary care, and 100 counts of confining the dogs in unsanitary conditions.
On January 17, humane agents with Animal Charity and the Mahoning County Dog Warden's Office searched the property which they described as a puppy mill.
The dogs have been temporarily adopted by foster families who will care for the animals until their ownership can be established by legal authorities.
