YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Ticket sales hit a record reaching almost 7,600 for the Elton John concert.
Executive Director Eric Ryan tells us with successes like this, the Covelli Centre should be able to attract more big acts.
He says ticket sales are already taking place for other exciting events for the months ahead.
"We have Cirque Du Soleil coming up which is our largest production ever, with 29 trucks, coming up in february. Then Darius Rucker and Eli Young Band will be coming at the end of February. So we have a lot of really good things coming," Ryan said.
He tells us country music sensation Hunter Hayes will be coming to the Covelli Centre in March.
