YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The owner of a Youngstown veterinary clinic plans to be open for business again Friday after a car came crashing through the front of his building.

The front window of the Kerpsack Veterinary Clinic was shattered around noon Thursday.

Owner of the clinic on Meridian Road, Dr William Kerpsack tells 21 News that he believes the driver of a car mistakenly pressed the accelerator pedal instead of the brake.

Dr. Kerpsack says some people and their pets had been sitting in the waiting room, but were called into the examination room just moments before the crash.

No humans or pets were injured, but the building's hot water system was damaged.
