The damage from a fire that destroyed a commercial building in Boardman on Tuesday afternoon is estimated at $1,100,000.

Investigators place damages at $750,000 to the offices at 8162 Market street.  The loss for the contents of the building is estimated at $350,000

Due to the large amount of damage and size of the loss, the Boardman Fire Investigation Unit has requested the assistance of the Metro Arson Task Force and Ohio Fire Marshal's Office to help find the cause of the blaze that damaged a Subway restaurant, as well as offices for Allstate Insurance, M Sanko Photography, and Center Stage Music.

Investigators do not believe that the cause of the fire was incendiary in nature.

Fire officials do not know if lightning from afternoon storms may have caused the fire.
