YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man is charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to chop off his daughters head with a sword.

74-year-old Charles Duecaster was arrested Sunday night at the Miami Avenue home he shares with his 43-year-old daughter Allison Whittaker.

The woman tells police that she began arguing with her father after he accused her boyfriend of stealing the television set from their home.

The argument escalated, and Whittaker says her father grabbed "a very long sword" and threatened to "chop her head off".

After the woman called police, she says her father left the house with the sword.

Police arrested Duecaster when he returned to the home. He was handcuffed and taken to jail.

Officers have been unable to find the sword.
