WARREN, Ohio - The man arrested in connection with the death of a Niles police detective's son appeared in court on Thursday.

Mark Thornsberry pleaded not guilty to charges related to the May 2013 overdose death of Joshua Robbins.

Prosecutors said Thornsberry supplied the heroin, that caused the death of Robbins.

Thornsberry is charged with involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, corrupting another with drugs, and heroin possession.

Thornsberry is in custody at the Trumbull County jail.
